Hi, my name is

Christer Lindgren

Web development and UX, from needs to working solution. I help organisations go from needs to a finished web solution that lasts over time. I take responsibility for the whole way. I develop the structure and UX, work out the design together with designers and build the solution in both frontend and backend. After launch I make sure it can be maintained and developed further. Because I work across the whole chain, I see early what can be built and what is right to prioritise. That means less rework and a shorter path to the right solution. Now I am looking for my next role or assignment.

What I can contribute

  • Early stages. The right questions, alignment, structure and wireframes, and an early judgement of what can be built.
  • From design to accessible code. A design system as shared ground, with accessibility built in from the start.
  • Maintenance over time. Solutions that can be updated and developed for many years. Client relationships have often lasted more than ten years.
  • Broad platform experience. WordPress in depth for many years, with themes, plugins and integrations. In my own projects also React, Next.js and headless Umbraco.

Three examples

  • Stockholm Prize in Criminology. From quote to delivery I was the link between art director, project management and production management.
  • LKF. An accessibility mode for the reports. A digital area guide that the project team sold in together, where I explained the technology to LKF and their leasing agents.
  • InPublix. The agency's platform for digital annual reports, which I initiated and built. It has been in production with paying clients for more than ten years.

Right now

Today I use AI as support where it fits, to get from idea to working prototype faster. The foundation is a shared design system and modules that are not locked to a particular CMS. I am happy to work within existing processes, give feedback and suggest improvements in both process and technology when needed. Read more about me and how I work.
