Stockholm Prize in Criminology

From a printed presentation to a website in Swedish and English, for an international research prize

The Stockholm Prize in Criminology is awarded every year for outstanding criminological research. The prize and its foundation were presented in a printed brochure, and needed a website. The work was done in 2025 by Hallvarsson & Halvarsson's Stockholm and Malmö offices together, with an art director in Stockholm.

  • From brochure to web. The printed presentation was the starting point. The art director sketched in InDesign, where the material already was, and I turned the sketches into a website.
  • The link between everyone involved. From quote to delivery, I was the link between the art director, project management and production management.
  • Two languages, two addresses. The Swedish and English versions each have their own web address, and I built both.
  • Easy to read. The design was deliberately kept simple, and the pages have a clear heading structure that screen readers can also navigate by.
  • Advice all the way. I advised on features, domains and hosting.

My part was the advice and all of the development, built on our Dbase platform.
