Modern web stack
From WordPress to TypeScript, React and headless Umbraco, learned by building real projects
For many years most of what I built ran on WordPress and PHP. Alongside my own projects I am now deepening the stack that much of the web is built with today.
- TypeScript, React and Next.js. This portfolio is built with them, and they are the default for the frontends in my other projects.
- Node.js on the server side of the same projects.
- Umbraco as a complement to WordPress. A .NET-based CMS that I have tried headless, with a Next.js frontend fetching content through Umbraco's API, and where Claude Code created the content types directly from a content specification.
- Python and FastAPI for the AI services, for example LangGraph Engine.
This is self-study and my own smaller projects, not client work. WordPress remains where my experience runs deepest.
