DUX Digital Price Lists
Replaced a 13-version InDesign price list process with an Excel-import-driven WordPress build
DUX sent a price list to its resellers every year, produced in InDesign in 13 currency-specific versions, each requiring its own full proofing round. I rebuilt the whole foundation.
- Source data moved to Excel, where several thousand products are categorized from a single column, and imported into WordPress so every row becomes a listing
- Every table and every version is now built dynamically from that categorization, directly in WordPress, and the texts are imported from a separate Excel file in the same way
- All edits happen in Excel; a fresh import regenerates every price list, with comparison PDFs available when a manual check is needed. It was a shift from heavy PDF proofing to streamlined Excel-and-import, with far fewer proofing rounds and consistent quality across every version
